When contacting multiple providers, ask them the following questions:
- What size dumpsters are available?
- Which size dumpster is best for my project?
- Can you drop off my chosen dumpster on [this date]?
- How many days are included in the rental price?
- How much weight is included in the price?
- What is the cost-per-ton for going over that weight?
- What payment types do you accept? When is payment due?
- Are there any items not allowed in the dumpster?
The lowest price isn’t always the best option, so make sure you understand all the details.
Choose a dumpster rental company based on their price, but don’t forget to consider other (arguably more important) factors, like container availability, whether or not they can accommodate your schedule, customer reviews, and if they can meet the needs of your project.
