Who can I rent a dumpster from in El Paso?
You must select an approved waste hauler who has paid the city’s franchise fee and has met all of the requirements that go along with it. The exception is for hauling certain materials, like recyclables or construction and demolition (C&D) debris. In this case, the hauler need only be permitted, not franchised, to haul the debris within city limits. What should I keep in mind during my dumpster rental?
- Ask the rental company if there are any permitting requirements for dumpster placement at your location. Do they take care of permits, or are you responsible for securing the permit?
- Keep the area around the dumpster clean and free of loose debris.
- Some materials are prohibited from entering area landfills.
What are the most common roll-off dumpster capacities and dimensions?
Roll-off container sizes vary, but here are the most common:
- 10 yards: 12 ft L x 8 ft W x 3.5 ft H
- 20 yards: 22 ft L x 8 ft W x 4 ft H
- 30 yards: 22 ft L x 8 ft W x 6 ft H
- 40 yards: 22 ft L x 8 ft W x 8 ft H
Dumpster sizes vary depending upon what the rental provider has in stock. Some carry other container sizes as well, including 8 yard bins, 12 yarders, 15 yarders, 25 yard dumpsters, and many other sizes.
