Dumpster Rental Tips for College Station, TX
I am remodeling my home. Can I place the remodeling debris to the curb for City collection?
No, City ordinances prohibit remodeling/construction/demolition debris from being placed curbside for collection.
So, what do I do with my C&D (construction & demolition) debris?
If you had a contractor work on your home, your contractor is responsible for removing the materials and debris. Most contractors go through a dumpster rental provider and load the debris as the project moves along.
If you did the remodeling yourself or did not hire a contractor, you will need to call a local waste hauler to rent a dumpster.
It was a DYI project, how do I know what size dumpster to order?
Most dumpster rental providers will help you with the ordering phase. Just tell them about your project, the amount of debris, and the type of debris, and they will help you select the right size dumpster to accommodate your needs.
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?
Because size and debris affect cost so much, the average cost to rent a dumpster ranges quite a bit, with the national average falling around $300-$600.
