How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?
Dumpster rates vary by location but generally range between $250 and $750 for a one week rental depending on the size. Most rental companies include a weight allowance in that cost, such as 4,000 or 6,000 lbs (2-3 tons). Can the driver place the dumpster inside my garage?

It may also be a more convenient option for home cleanouts or remodeling projects. Many dumpster providers do not offer in-garage drop offs, so you may have to call around. Hiring a junk removal service is an alternative solution that is also HOA-friendly.
