What is a dumpster weight allowance?
Each roll-off dumpster includes a certain amount of weight in the price. The amount of included weight can range from 0 lbs to several tons. Some companies have a very low delivery price, but include 0 lbs of weight. That means you still need to pay for all the weight after the dumpster is weighed, typically at the landfill. Household junk is much lighter compared to the same volume of dirt, bricks or concrete debris. Be wary of overage charges when dealing with heavier debris.
