We ordered and received a 10 yard dumpster rental from American Waste and their service was excellent. We didn't have any problems at all. They were very receptive when I called them and gave me a competitive price for the dumpster size I needed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
We rented a dumpster from American Waste for the debris from a house fire because they were the only company who I could get a dumpster from my county. I loved that they dropped off and picked up the dumpster in a timely manner and moved it where I needed it to be moved. Overall, I was happy with their service.
We have a cottage that we go to seasonally. Our service was stopped and we used their service for Memorial Day and it was confusing on both our part and theirs as when to resume our service for the summer. The week leading up to the 4th we had a lot of garbage and the driver had already been to our area, but had not picked up our load. The driver went out of his way and came back to us at the end of his long day to pick up our load so that we could have a clean start for the holiday weekend. We really appreciated his effort and kindness! In addition, the billing department has been a huge help in getting us straightened out! I recently moved to Charlevoix and started service with American Waste in April. We did 4 large dumpsters when we were remodeling out house and they were great. So we decided to have them do our regular home service. I have the best representative of that company doing my route on Thursdays. This summer I witnessed him repeatedly go above and beyond. From picking up items that fell out to sweeping up the debris that fell. About a month ago, I forgot to put my trash out and he stopped honked and alerted me that he was there for my trash. He waited for me and met me to take. I have NEVER, EVER had that kind of GREAT customer Service. I think I embarrassed him, Mitch, when I was so surprised and happy. Who would take care of their customer that way? He did. They have a customer for life with such great care for your customers all the way down to the person at the curb.
I needed a 10 yard roll off container for a renovation project. American Waste was prompt for both delivery and pick-up. I didn't have any issues with it during the 7 days I had the dumpster. Overall, good service.

I needed a 10 yard dumpster for a roof and yard renovation project I was working on to remove the old shingles and the wood decking. We filled it up in 6 days with American Waste picking it up promptly after I called.

American Waste delivered on time. We had it for a little over a week. We had no issues with the service we got from them.
We contacted American Waste for a 7-day rental of a 10 yard construction dumpster for paper bags and old plaster from a pool. Delivery and pick up was prompt, but I had a big problem with them. Other than the high price for the dumpster, I had requested for a credit application, set up the account, and got it approved. When they came to the site, they wouldn't leave the dumpster unless we provided them with a credit card. We did as they wanted, but that was a real turn off. I rent these out all over the US and we do not use credit cards, because we want our bills coming into our main office. If I knew ahead of time that this was how they operated, I wouldn't have gone ahead with the rental.
